VISIT OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST TO BELGIUM
The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost and President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Apostle Eric Nyamekye visited Belgium for the first time in May 2024.
During his maiden visit to Belgium, Apostle Nyamekye in the company of a delegation comprising executive members and elders of the Church in Ghana as well as Belgium paid a courtesy call on the Acting Head of Mission and the Embassy of Ghana at the Chancery in Brussels. The Apostle and his delegation were graciously welcomed by the Acting Head of Mission, Mr. McArios A. Akanbong. During the discussion, Mr. Akanbong commended the significant contribution of the Church in the national development of Ghana. He cited the initiatives in Education, Social Welfare and the reformation of inmates in Ghana.
For his part Apostle Nyamekye thanked Mr. Akanbong for the opportunity to call on the Embassy and shared the vision of the Church to promote transformation around the world and bring persons from different cultures and nations together.
Following an invitation extended to the Embassy, members of staff led by the Acting Head of Mission attended a national church service in Ghent held in commemoration of the visit of the Chairman.
