The Ghana community in Belgium, in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy organized a thanksgiving service on 2nd June 2019 at the Church of Pentecost in Gent in honour of Ambassador Sena Siaw-Boateng after her successful presentation of credentials to the King of Belgium.
Various churches and denominations as well as the various Ghanaian Associations in Belgium were in attendance. Speaking at the ceremony, Rev Frank Amishaddai Acquah, pastor in charge on The Church of Pentecost, Gent District highlighted on the attitude change we need in order to possess the land. Using Israel as an example, he explained how God had promised them of better land but they had to fight the giants in order to possess it. We need to change our attitude, be fearless, have foresight, and have faith in the promises of God. There are two things God will always stand by: His word and his people. With God on or side, we will be able to overcome the giants.
In her speech, Ambassador Sena Siaw-Boateng praised the strong Ghanaian community in Belgium and promised to work together with them. She encouraged all Ghanaians to arise to deliver the vision of Ghana Beyond Aid.
