On Monday, 19th January 2026, the Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), His Excellency Moussa Saleh Batraki, paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union, H.E. Henry Tachie-Menson at the Embassy of Ghana in Brussels.
The Ambassador and the Secretary General discussed the Organisation’s key priorities and upcoming statutory engagements. Also at the center of their discussions was the preparations towards the upcoming 11th OACPS Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled to be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, from 27th – 29th March, 2026.
Secretary-General Batraki also took the opportunity to congratulate Ghana’s Ambassador on his successful tenure as the coordinator for the West Africa region as he demonstrated excellent leadership within the OACPS over the past six months.
Ghana’s Ambassador, on behalf of the Embassy, thanked the Secretary General for the visit and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to active and constructive engagements within the OACPS to promote the collective interests of its Member States.
