Farewell to Mrs. Ruby Lawmann Mensah-Akolor after 36 years of service
The Embassy organized a ceremony on Tuesday, 31st December 2019 to bid farewell to Mrs. Ruby Lawmann Mensah-Akolor, who is going on retirement after 36 years of service as a member of staff of the Ghana Embassy in Brussels.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Sena Siaw-Boateng conveyed the heartfelt gratitude of the entire staff of the Mission to Mrs. Mensah-Akolor and then presented her with a plaque as a token of appreciation for her long service and dedication to duty. Other members of staff also took turns to pay tribute to Mrs. Mensah-Akolor.
Mrs Mensah-Akolor in turn thanked the Ambassassador and her staff for their support, friendship and shared experiences, which would forever abide in her memory. She also offered that her doors were always open should the Mission need her help or advice at any time.
